Paris Storefronts, part one

I guess it took a little time to get used to the Bastille being, not a terrifying dungeon as it was in my mind, but a place where you can buy postcards and sit in a cafe.

Sushi and bagels seemed an odd combination at first but then I realized, "oh yeah - lox!"

This was the most colorful corner I saw in Paris.

This store is advertising Cajun food.

Dear Melinama,
Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us.
I will never get to Paris, but you've made it real to me.
Your painting and print are beautiful.
Bless you.

I'm living in Paris right now and am AMAZED by the storefronts. The new ones, the old ones... they all have a beauty to them. Thanks for posting your photos. I'm inspired to take more photos of store fronts.
