I love sun streaming through a window. I always sit at my diningroom table to get the A.M. sunshine from the sliding glass doors to the deck and on the livingroom sofa to get the afternoon sun from the bow window behind it. Unfortunately, my classroom has no windows...bummer. I feel like I'm in a cave. [Shoutout to Alina and Luba and Gaspar.] What color will the amaryllis be? I used to have a beautiful crimson one. I also grew orchids for awhile until I killed that plant ...I overwatered it. They were glorious , big white flowers with purple throats--I felt like I was growing corsages with no prom in sight. Maybe you could post a photo when your plant has flowered. Thanks for the nice photo to start my day. ~~~Susanlynn, sun and plant lover
